Recycle materials
From Bottle to Bag: The Journey of PET Fabric
Step 1: Cleaning the Bottles
Collected plastic bottles are thoroughly cleaned to remove labels, dirt, and residue, ensuring a fresh start for the transformation.
Step 2: Breaking Down
The bottles are thoroughly washed to remove labels, caps, and any residue. Once clean, they are shredded into small plastic flakes.
Step 3: Melting
The flakes are melted down and pushed through a machine called an extruder, which turns the molten plastic into long, thin fibers.
Step 4: Spinning into Yarn
The melted resin is spun into high-performance recycled yarn, which becomes the core of our fabric.
Step 5: Weaving into Fabric
Finally, the yarn is woven into strong, lightweight, and water-resistant fabric, ready to be shaped into your Urban Walker bag.
Step 6: Bag Production
This is how we turn waste into purpose, one bottle at a time.
Less burden for you. Less burden for the planet.
