Selvey is the first recognized French female journalist in Shanghai since the founding of the country. She has an academic background in languages, design, international relations, and other disciplines. She has been involved in various fields, including corporate consulting, product design consulting, journalism, and directing. She gained public recognition through three well-known documentaries.

In 2015, UW invited Selvey to serve as the company’s brand consultant and product design consultant, assisting UW in pushing its brand design to new heights.
